Toll house cookies - Aussie style

Now regular toll house cookies are made with pecans or walnuts, and yes, I had them in my cupboard but the Macadamias which we picked earlier this month that I have just lovingly (and arduously) shelled yesterday are so creamy-yummy that they just had to be used and enjoyed... so feel free to substitute for the traditionals... :)

Ingredients (makes approx 30)
90 grams butter
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup caster sugar
2 tb milk
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup plain flour
1/2 cup self raising flour
3/4 cup choc chips/choc buttons
1/2 cup macadamia nuts (walnut/pecans)

Method:
Preheat oven to 200 degrees c

Cream the butter and sugars until well combined

Whilst beating, add egg, vanilla extract and milk, then turn your beaters to a lower speed and add your flours.  Remove bowl from mixer

Chop your nuts if not pre-chopped and add these with your choc chips to the mix and mix in with spoon/spatula until well combined.

Spoon into large walnut sized pieces on greased baking trays, bake for 10-15 until slightly browned on top.  Allow to cool slightly on tray before transferring to cooling rack.

Recipe 98 people... so what's going to be the 100th?  Vote on the right there :)

Yum!

I'm interested in trying to bake some buns or scrolls - which I've never done before. Maybe that could be your 100th?
