Yep. It's my birthday today.
I don't look forward to my birthday like I used to. It's not because I'm getting older - because to me it's just a number. My birthday used to be my most favourite day of the year. I suppose because lately I never feel like it's 'about me'. That's what birthdays are about really. I hope I get my birthday mojo back one of these years.

I know what you mean about your birthday mojo. I'm hoping once the kids are older, they'll make more of a fuss. Parents, cousins, family just don't seem to make the effort anymore.
