Make it from Scratch Carnival #143 Thanksgiving Edition!

Welcome to this weeks' Made it from Scratch Carnival!

First of all those of you celebrating, Happy Thanksgiving!

If you are looking at a something different to stuff your turkey with this year, try Emily's Vegetarian Stuffing posted at Prosper and Be In Health!

What to do with leftover turkey?  Have it on sandwiches with Gramma Greenjeans' Cranberry Chutney.  This looks DELICIOUS. oh my.  Have bookmarked her blog, Better Gardens than Homes!

This time of the year for me is all about having lots to do and not a lot of time, so this Vegetable Lo Mein is a great little gem I think I'm going have a crack at thanks to Kris at Cheap, Healthy, Good - less than 30 minutes to deliciousness.. mmmm

Another time-saver here if you want a quick and easy dinner, the Homemaking Helper shows us how to make a super-easy-shortcut chicken pot pie!

We're still saving time here - but if mexican is more your style, Annette from Craft Stew has the answer for you.  5 minute vegetarian taco salad
If you want to try the above but you prefer tortillas,  get back to making something truly from scratch and head over to Glory in the Clutter and see how Sarah makes her Homemade Tortillas!  I'm going to try this!
Another great recipe submitted this week is by Make your own Luck: How to make your own waffles from scratch - tells us how she makes hers up in bulk, and saves time and money - there's also some ideas on variations you could use!  Great submission!
Here's a great way to use butternut pumpkins/squash!  Family Balance sheet presents Cranberry and Pumpkin Muffins!  Great to have some stashed in the freezer and warm up on a cool day
Now this isn't a recipe as such but it certainly worthy of inclusion, I love this idea, it would be an ideal entry as part of my regular series what will they think of next - Foodpod presents - Make your own yoghurt in the milk carton!!  This may have me ditching the easiyo!

Look at this gorgeous quilt designed and made by Cindy at Mixed Media Artist! See how she did, and how you can, make one!

Are you in the Christmas spirit yet?  Time to start getting those cards written and sent, and here's some wonderful and downloadable Christmas card designs thanks to Home Life Weekly - thank you!

Still on Christmas - Sadie over at Savings with Sadies shares her instructions with how to make ornamental wreaths with pickling spices - that would also smell fantastic don't you think?
Brooke over at Rambling Brooke has a great tutorial for a neck warmer using a recycled jumper/sweater, looks super easy and very stylish don't you think?
When I saw this on our Make it from Scratch Flagship Blog this week I squealed with delight!  My little frills would LOVE a Made from scratch Tinkerbell Costume, and if you know or have little girls you will no doubt be very popular should you gift your own made-from-scratch version - economical and beautiful!  Lovely work Stephanie!

Recycle Cindy from My Recycled Bags never ceases to amaze me you know, she has such practical and innovative creations!  This week is no exception - Cindy shares her pattern and shows us how to make our own Open Mesh Magic Dishcloths..!

Thanks for visiting this week!   Submit what you made from scratch to the carnival here.
Next week you will see the carnival at Out of Debt Again
