Back to (some) sense of normality

Hubby hurt his back in a work accident about 7 weeks ago and has been off since then... weekly appointments with physio, specialists, accupuncturist, hydrotherapy and lately he has been doing some work from home.  It's been lovely to have him at home, it's given me freedom to do some things through the day (little outings) that would be prohibitive otherwise.

But it's also made me a bit lazy.  I'm not in my routine, it's hard to know which days are which and as silly as this sounds, I miss 'missing him' when he's gone and the joy of him coming home.

So today he's back at work, and admittedly he's gone early in the morning and home by lunchtime, but it allows me to get my groove back.  Next week it will be a few hours more and if he continues to improve be back at work full time a few weeks after that.

I don't know how some spouses work and live together? Not for me!

Hope things return to "normal" soon! I used to work with Mr NQN and it was rather difficult at first although we arrived at a compromise (it was either that or kill each other :P )

You're getting there slowly :-) My hubby used to work from home so i can certainly relate. It is so nice to miss them and see them walking up the driveway to the door at the end of the day.
