Make your own..... nutella (hazelnut spread)

I know there is a certain blogger who may rush out to buy the ingredients for this.  Or perhaps not.  I was a bit excited when it worked!!  And how long did it take? Oh, about 2 minutes of about 25 lapsed time.  I think this could make a great gift for the nutella lover in your life for Christmas, or you may just want to eat it out of the food processor bowl?  Yes?

Ingredients:
2/3 cups whole hazelnuts
1 1/2 cups icing sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup canola oil

Method:
Preheat your oven to 200 degrees c
Place your hazelnuts on a baking tray and roast for about 7 minutes, Jiggle the tray a little to roll the hazelnuts over and return to the oven for another 5 minutes.

Place the hazelnuts on a tea towel, cover and rub hands over the teatowel to rub the skins off the hazelnuts, just do the best you can - 1 minute is enough!

Place hazelnuts in your foodprocessor and process for about 3 minutes - it will become hazelnut meal and then the oil will emerge and it will become an almost paste.

Add the cocoa and the icing sugar, process for another 30 seconds and then continue to process whilst your drizzle the oil in....

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a month ! (it won't last that long!)
