Honey Choc-Hazelnut & Banana Pizza

Yes, you aren't reading things.  All those words are meant to be together.  We had pizza last night and my wonderful pizza dough makes four pizza bases.  So instead of making 2 extra pizzas for freezing decided to do something a little different...  I've seen chocolate pizza or nutella pizza on the menu at many wood fire joints and wondered what they would be like... now I know.

This is easy and yummy treat.  Get adventurous, try different combinations of chocolate, fruit and even liqueur toppings...

This one is my combo:

Ingredients
1 pizza base
150g dark chocolate (I used Lindt specialty cooking chocolate)
75ml cream
2 large bananas
1/4 cup whole hazelnuts
2 tbsp honey

Method:
Preheat oven to 250 degrees c.

Melt your chocolate in the microwave by breaking up the chocolate, placing in a microwave proof bowl, and heating on 50% for one minute.  Stir, and return to the microwave for a further minute on 50% heat.  Stir in the cream.

Spread 2/3 of the chocolate ganache on your pizza base.

Add bananas, hazelnuts and drizzle the remaining chocolate over the top.  Lastly drizzle honey on top  and place the pizza in the oven for about 15 minutes.

Cool slightly, cut and serve with a dollop of cream or  icecream.
