Recipes are my pick for the day. I've cooked so much stuff from your blog and love all those extra hints like "Put baking paper under the cake rack when you pour on this glaze, it makes a mess" which make me laugh but also nod when I actually do it and see the mess you mean. :)

Recipes are my favourite part - I do love all your posts but I love the recipes and the way you do step by step.

Congrats on hitting the 1000 posts too!

I'm a foodie so of course I love your recipes! They're exactly the sort of food I love, that people can imagine themselves cooking at home and enjoying with their family.

I am only new to blogs and this is one of only 2 that I frequent. I have been checking out frugality, but it's the recipes I love.
I love food, but cooking had taken a backburner until recently. I love that I am cooking again.
Thanks Liss for indulging me and my to-the-letter cooking :)

The frugality section also has some great ideas in it - my favourite being the meal planner, if only I could convince my partner now! ;)

I've recently discovered the Season Savvy section (ooh so much alliteration!) :) I love the idea of eating for the seasons, saving money as well as eating produce at it's best.

I love your recipe section. I am a very basic type cook as I am rather cooking challenged. Having an autistic 5 year old son that is an extremely fussy eater but loves to cook I have found some great recipes on your site to tempt his taste buds. I love how you include plenty of photos with each of your recipes as I love step by step instructions with photos and seeing what the final results should look like.

CONGRATS on your 1000th blog post.

Gardening, Gardening & Gardening. Followed closely by Season Savy :)

One day I will have sand in my fabulous husband made garden beds & will have a nice size harvest planted

I love the Season Savy section the most.

OK so it's pretty much taken me a week to decide which section is my favourite my initial answer was recipes, then that changed to frugality but I really love the About Me section as it is possibly the best one I have ever read (and makes me ashamed for my lack of one).
Belated congrats on the 1000th post

It was a tough pick, but I think the recipes will always come out on top! I've always loved to cook, but reading your recipes, seeing the mouth-watering photos and reading your tips and tricks always re-ignites my passion for cooking, and gets me into the kitchen recreating your masterpieces!

Oh how does one choose - I love it all! But recipes might have to be the favourite for me...I've always found you inspiring as a person and its also reflected in your cooking and commentary. I need some new ideas for my ever-fussy Samuel and now that he is reading, winning a new cook book that he can follow and create with might just inspire his appetite and show him a new side of food that is not just something one must eat!

Kirsty S said... [Reply to this amazing comment]

Oh, no... the competition is closing! *lol* Since I've literally just made swedish meatballs I'll have to do another vote for the recipe section. My hips/thighs/butt is thinking you really should have an exercise section... but we both know I'd ignore it anyway so why bother? *lol*

Happy 1000th post!
