Vege garden update Week 3


Going well! We've lost one of our cauliflowers to the snails, but one out of our whole crop is nothing disastrous - it still might come good. Marigold flowers are budding, next week I expect we'll have flowers..We'll have to raise the chicken wire soon as it's not tall enough for these quickly growing crops! Back to bunnings we go!


Carrots have been the big movers and shakers this week - they are below in the middle - the strips of green.. another 8-10 weeks and we can start harvesting some food - that is very cool.




So here's a pic of the whole garden and the remainder of the garden which has been dug out ready for bricking, planting and wiring. Getting impatient for this but with the combination of illness and busy-ness I'm getting rather impatient! There should be some new plantings to show you next week.!
