Around our garden September 25 2010

Ah, it's been ages since I've updated you on our garden, because this winter I haven't been in it alot !  It's well overdue for some TLC - otherwise known as WEEDING.

The feeding bit is good - hubby has fertilised over the winter - I'm looking forward to spending our morning out there tomorrow - the weather is glorious.

So here's some pics:

Our blueberries! Aren't they cute?  We can't decide where to plant them in the ground so they are still in the babygarden for now alongside the black sapote seeds we planted last year, they're ready to go in the ground too.

Our cabbages have started to heart up, look beautiful don't they?

The gardenia's (my favourite flower) are budding up too, I have about 15 bushes in the garden, they are finally starting to mesh together 3 years later to form a proper hedge.  Next year I think they will be one.

More gardenias...

One of our onions going to seed!

Our lemon tree after nearly dying last summer is coming back, so happy!

And look at our baby mandarin tree - starting to bud up too!!

And how lovely are these peach blossoms?  I'm expecting more than one peach this year - which is what we had last year - exactly one!  In fact, we bought this tree on our 5th wedding anniversary, so it's just turned 2!

And the lovely hanging pansies - Our loungeroom looks over them - they are glorious and make me happy!
I'll update you more on the vege patch this week, promise, after the huck out tomorrow!! xx
