Tell me how you spoil yourself and win $250 to spend at Myer plus $250 worth of Lindt!

Spoiling yourself is so relative isn't it?

I remember spoiling myself would be going on a holiday or buying myself a designer label... going to a three-hatted restaurant.  These days spoiling myself may mean a hair cut, new underwear or a few hours to myself to read in peace.

Regardless of whether you're a mother or not, on a budget or not everyone needs spoiling every now and then - giving yourself permission to be spoiled is a struggle for me at times, but we all deserve it - I think a little bit of spoiling can put things in perspective and make the daily grind 'do-able' again.

So my friends I think you all need a bit of spoiling, and so do Lindt - they've given me a package of a $250 basket of chocolate goodness plus a $250 Myer voucher for you to well and truly spoil yourself.  And friends I mean YOU.  Not new pyjamas for your little one, not a birthday present for your auntie... this needs to be all about YOU.

So to enter you need to:
  • Leave me a comment here telling me how you will spoil yourself with this prize
  • An extra entry if you post a separate comment telling me how you like to spoil yourself for  under $10
  • Enter only once in the above two methods
  • There will other ways to enter too - find out on 16th May!
  • Entries close 31st May 2011
  • Entry open to those with an Australian postal address

Now, if that's not enough, Lindt are also giving away 5 x  1,000 photo sessions with Lindt Lindor for Mother's day. Join Lindt on Facebook  - to submit your entry before 8th May!

Good luck and share this with people you think need some spoiling! xxx

$10 bonus entry: simple... A weekend play in the park with the kids and the dog (oh and hubby) then a feast on $5 chips from our chip shop... Heck we could do it Saturday and Sunday!!! (as well as lots of running around98.)

Oh, the mind boggles!!!! How wonderful this prize would be. I think I'd spend the money on new sheets - there is nothing I love more than snuggling up in bed with a good book or some trashy tv in clean, new, lovely sheets...with a Lindt ball and a cup of warm milk! Especially savouring those moments now as both my kiddies are sleeping through the night & I no longer have to stay up late to express milk to boost my supply, so I can now actually get to bed before midnight!

And for $10, it would have to be a picnic in the park with my 3 boys. Baby kicking happily on the rug and the toddler running amongst the grass while my husband and I take turns chasing him. I'd pack some homemade snacks and buy a couple of sweet treats to indulge in together.

And for the extra, extra entry you mentioned on Twitter, my favourite Lindt...it's a tight race between the block of Creme Brullee, Peanut Butter Lindt Balls and Hazelnut Lindt balls...if I had to choose just one, it would be Hazelnut Lindt balls....YUMMO!!

I LOVE the Lindt Excellence 'A Touch of Sea Salt' - delicious dark chocolate with that ping of salt...yummo!

Actually Liss the Lindt prize would be such a lovely surprise for my dear friend Heather - she's a confirmed chocaholic! Sadly she lost her husband to cancer, then less than 12 months later suffered a massive stroke and to top it off is a breast cancer survivor. I'd like to spoil her - she is always thinking of everyone else. Nothing would give me more pleasure than for Heather to receive a Lindt Pamper Package! It would make her (and my) day!

I am a bit of a chocoholic. I love it all, but with my arm twisted behind my back and at the threat of torture, I have to say, the Lindt Easter Bunny. I love that face

A Lindt dessert party, all to myself,
Leaving not one block upon the shelf.
My(er) new fur-vest - undeniably faux,
Clothed in Myer from head to toe!

Spoiling myself for under $10:

Straight to the Lindt cafe, to indulge in the chocolaty menu.

I’d order a rich hot chocolate and enjoy the city venue.

As I’d sit back, relax and unwind, I’d sort through my Myer bags,

With all sorts of goodies and winter accessories, delighting in designer tags.

I would spoil myself by eating as much Lindt as I could in one sitting - after my bub is born. Have not been able to eat any choc for several months because I have been feeling too sick.

I will spoil myself by going and buying myself a gorgeous pair of boots I have been eyeing off and couldn't afford. Then I will spend the afternoon with friends enjoying our Lindt while admiring my new boots.

For under ten dollars I will spoil myself with a nice new nail polish and painting my nails, it always makes me feel special.

When i thought of myer i thought of the great kitchen ware sections...i'm not really one for labels and hours spent browsing through clothes but kitchen shops get me hooked. Then i realised that Myer do a great degustation lunch! Hell Yeh. Indulge in a great lunch and maybe pick myself up a tagine or a new piping bag?? Obviously the Lindt would keep me going as i browsed the isles...

Living very frugally and primitively in the bush because of poverty and unemployment I would love a new outfit and shoes that may help me impress at interview and get a job....... and chocolates as sheer indulgence in this chilly cold of winter

The Coffee Luva on May 31, 2011 at 8:21 PM said... [Reply to this amazing comment]

I was given an awesome Lavazza coffee machine for my birthday but I can't afford the pods and they have them at Myer! So I would stock up on all the flavours to indulge in some frothy cappucinos. I'd be totally in heaven.

I'd take my sister with me and go on a shopping spree!

Spoiling myself is about making ME feel special again; not "Mum", not "Honey", ME!
So, I would buy my favourite perfume, Narciso Rodriguez For Her.
At $170 a bottle it's something that the Mum in me could never justify splurging on. The "honey/wife" in me would avoid buying it because it makes my hubby sneeze, and he'd go mad about the cost.
It makes ME feel beautiful, sexy, confident & special, and if I don't feel all of those things about myself, well, then I'm not being a good role model as a Mum, or a solid foundation for my husband & family!

If I could spoil myself for $250 at Myer I would buy a fabulous, sexy black dress. My wardrobe is missing one at the moment, and it feels bare. There are many fantastic labels at Myer, and I would have fun trying lots of gorgeous dresses on.

Thank you for the chance to enter this fantastic competition.

For the $10 bonus entry, I would buy a lovely scented bubble bath to enjoy. As the weather gets colder, a warm bath with bubbles will warm me up, and provide relaxation!

Thanks again for the chance to enter this competition. Its much appreciated.

Step 1: Buy as many travel guides from the Myer book section as I can afford
Step 2: On the way home pick up a nice bottle of red wine, and a spicy stirfry or curry
Step 3: Hop into my oldest, most threadbare, most comfortable pair of Pyjamas (hopefully by this time it will be raining outside to add to the atmosphere)
Step 4: Plan my journey of a lifetime with the help of my new collection of travel guides
Step 5: Go back to work to earn enough money to go on my journey of a lifetime!

Lisa & Sabrina on May 31, 2011 at 10:38 PM said... [Reply to this amazing comment]

For my $10 bonus entry... The plan remains the same, except I'll use the internet instead of travel guidebooks, and the bottle of wine will be not quite so fancy ;o)

I have the worlds cutest, most affectionate Guinea Pig. I would buy myself the softest, fluffiest dressing gown I could find, so that I could settle my little piggie on my lap. Of course, while he schnuggles down and has a snooze, I'll be reading my new pile of books (purchase from the Myer book section of course)...
