Ingredients:
500g cocktail frankfurts (If you or your children are susceptible to food colourings, remove the skins or buy skin-less franks)
3 rashers bacon
sweet mustard (I used swedish mustard - you can buy this one at Ikea - but wholegrain honey mustard is delicious also)
Method:
Preheat oven to 200 degrees c
Slice bacon in 1/3rds lengthwise and in 1/2 again so you have 6 long thin strands of bacon per rind. It doesn't matter if they break...
Cut a slit in the frankfurts half and smear some mustard in the centre.
Serve! They don't need sauce or anything - they are a bit crunchy and a bit sweet and might tasty!
What's your go-to snack on a cold day? Hot chips with vinegar is one of my faves too!

Looks and sounds delicious! Will be trying this out on the weekend
Oh yum, late dinner for hubs and I tonight, these are in the oven as i type! Already know how good they are going to be sampled a little boy with seeded mustard... yep have to have them like that all the time now :)
Thinking i might have to buy a heap of the ingredients and make up a large batch to do on the BBQ this weekend while we are away camping with some great friends (who i think i've also turned into Frills fans lol)
retro daddy & finn are going to totally love these!!!!!!!!!!
@Leimay You are my best Tester Leila! These would be SO perfect for camping!
@Corrie Corrie I can just see Retrodaddy with a beer in one hand and a bowl of these in the other watching the AFL....
@Liss
Friends take a little BBQ away so we made them all up, popped them into a tin foil tray and let them cook away for a while! Kids loved them, adults loved them and while the bacon on the bottom was a little more cooked than at home they were just as delicious and will no doubt become a regular addition to our camping trips!
THANK YOU
(Oh tonight starts our Frills week, everything i make this week will be from your blog! Can't wait there are so many delicious recipes i think we could do this for a month!)
