What exactly are you looking for?

I love having a look at the live FEEDJIT feed for my blog - the sheer diversity of geography of you lovely visitors is nothing short of exciting.

I have a lovely visitor from Belgium every day (c'mon and comment!!) who, when I see they've visited, I think 'hello again'.. I hope you're eating lots of delicious belgian chocolate and waffles for me!

I find lots of lovely blogs too, people who have linked me (thank you!)

Sometimes though I find some pretty weird things.  People click on this blog when using a search engine - some recent examples:

Alexandria, Virginia arrived from search.yahoo.com on "" by searching for how to make cocaine from scratch.
San Francisco, California arrived from google.com on "" by searching for roommate chore chart excel templates.
Palm Beach, New South Wales arrived from google.com.au on "" by searching for sounds seedy.

How did you come up with the name of your blog?

Well we live in Terrey Hills, a little bit of semi-rural loveliness in Sydneys' north - and having three girls, it seemed quite appropriate. It's grown on me now... I still love the title.

What was the first blog you followed?
I'm pretty sure it was Meagan at Bowenvale 321, but it might have been Martha Stewart...

What's the latest blog you followed?
It's impossible to be unhappy in a poncho

Usually I'll go through my dashboard and look what all the overseas blogs have published whilst I've been slumbering, but more often than not, I end up on 'Telles' blog FatMumSlim or Lorraines' NotQuiteNigella

Many! But a guaranteed laugh is Jo Blogs - I just wish she updated more often :)

Well again, probably NotQuiteNigella - I miss the days of scouting for a new restaurant or going to a restaurant that wasn't prefixed with 'family'... Katy and Rina inspire me to cook, and Make it from scratch inspires me not to be lazy and try new things!

Truly, I'm just trying to help...

I use this blog for more than just entertaining you guys and recording my somewhat schizophrenic content (yes I'm a bit all of the place I realise!).. I use it as my personal cookbook... and I find the search thingy pretty much USELESS.  Sorry about that.

So I have against all my recipes further labelled them - baking, cakes, biscuits, beef, lamb, freezermeals, dairy-free, chicken and the one I plan adding to - 30minutesorless - because we're all time-poor aren't we?

I'm not dissing, promise!

Since I went from a blogspot.com to a .com I've noticed something sad has happened.

My googlefriend connect isn't working. I"m sure a lot of people think I'm dissing them?!

I had to add all the blogs I was following again manually (luckily I did have these in my cache file!) but now when I visit all the lovely blogs I notice I'm not in the 'friends' anymore.  When I try to add myself again it tells me I'm blocked by the user!  So I could understand if I was unpopular, but it has happened with everyone so I'm guessing it's a technical glitch.  All of those that I've joined since going dot.com no problems....

So sorry people who think I don't love you anymore - I do!! Googleconnect doesn't!!

A dying art?

on the weekend we were repairing the 'house of broke' (aka replacing the heater, toaster and microwave which have busted over past weeks - also known as goodbye tax cheque) and as I was completing all the warranty forms (after the laptop incident extended warranty is now my friend)  and I realised how awful my handwriting has become!

Then I thought about it - what do I write these days?

No wonder my handwriting is shocking.  I used to have nice handwriting.  I used to get complimented on it.

I'm still working on this (the header mainly, it'll do for now) but I realised the last one I did whilst my puter was in Sonyhospital wasn't resolution friendly (apologies to those of you who were worrying if I was blind!?) So this is it for now, I particular like the menu bar to find stuff quickly. I don't know about you guys, but I'll use it!

Welcome Home Baby.

My laptop is coming home today from the SonyHospital.  I missed it so much.  It is so sad I have an emotional attachment to my laptop isn't it?  Must book more therapy.

I'm insane.

Nooooo!!

Something on my beautiful RED puter is not happy.

Either the battery or power card. Won't boot up now - I had a spare power lead, neither work.

I hope it's under warranty! (Sony and it's 18 months old)

Now I'm on hubby's spare laptop - meh - better than nothing but I miss my baby and it's only been hours...!!

I have to apologise, the pics I've been taking lately have been with my phone. Whilst making the passionless lemon butter a few weeks ago I dropped our beloved camera and it wouldn't turn on again. The casing had come off at a slight angle. So the comments 'are those biscuits purple?' prompted me to beg my hubby who originally said he would look at - to do so...soon!

And he fixed it. So we'll be avoiding the purple biscuit shots and taking more pics of our beautiful little ladies and our adventures!

Kudos to clever hubby!!!

Time to back up...

I feel for my hubby at the moment, his laptop is hemorrhaging error messages and not much else. He's got a lot of his personal time wound up in the laptop and I know that if it were mine I'd be devastated. Luckily all the pics are on my puter or our server.
